At Community Hospital of Los Gatos (CommunityHospitalLG.com), an emergency department physician is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, specialty consultation is available for general surgery, neurosurgery, medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and orthopedics, and a full range of radiology services is offered. The emergency department is a receiving hospital for paramedic traffic, with direct contact to county communications by radio and the Internet.
