Site Description
For decades, Mercy Hospital of Folsom has provided care for life-threatening emergencies, as well as for minor urgent-care medical concerns (MercyFolsom.org). The Folsom emergency department treats a growing population of patients as the surrounding community continues to expand. Mercy Folsom is a part of the Catholic Healthcare West system, which has dozens of acute care facilities in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Folsom is located near beautiful South Lake Tahoe, well known for its scenic beauty and abundance of recreational opportunities. It is also just thirty minutes from Sacramento, the state capital of California.
