Administrative Fellowships
CEP America offers Administrative Fellowships that provide in-depth training in leadership, administration, and financial management in Emergency Medicine. Mentored by the Partnership’s Chief Medical Officer, Vice-President of Operations, and Divisional and Regional Directors, Fellows are involved in various projects that introduce them to issues important to Emergency Physicians, such as quality, risk, advocacy, and continuing education.
Fellows work clinically and are expected to be involved in their local group and hospital site’s administration. They also receive significant exposure to all aspects of the Partnership’s administration, including its support institutions: the management services organization MedAmerica; the insurance company MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group; and the billing/coding company MBSI.
